Floating contacts
The floating contacts are connected as follows:
Terminal X2
Description
3 + 2
Stopping pressure (SP1)
The terminals are switched when the pressure reaches or exceeds
the set stopping pressure (pressure
600mbar) or with a high oil
level in the lower drip tray or the optional collection canister,
provided the delay time (K1) has elapsed.
3 + 7
Alarm pressure (SP2)
The terminals are switched when the pressure reaches or exceeds
the set alarm pressure (pressure
set alarm pressure), provided
the delay time (K1) has elapsed.
If only one external connection is possible, you can connect the two floating
contacts, alarm pressure and stopping pressure in parallel.
See also Setting the alarm pressure and stopping pressure in chapter "Setting EDS
switchpoints for the alarm and stopping pressure"
Connections with potential
Terminal X2
Description
4
Stopping pressure (SP1)
The terminal is a PNP transistor output.
High 24 VDC or low 0 VDC
Maximum load 0.5 A.
During normal operation (pressure
600mbar), the voltage level is
high.
Switches when the pressure reaches or exceeds the set stopping
pressure of 24V DC at 0 VDC (pressure
600mbar).
5
Pressure signal
The terminal is a current output with 4...20 mA for external display
of the electronic pressure sensor EDS.
6
Alarm pressure (SP1)
The terminal is a PNP transistor output.
High 24 VDC or low 0 VDC
Maximum load 0.5 A.
During normal operation (pressure < set alarm pressure), the
voltage level is high.
Switches when the pressure reaches or exceeds the set alarm
pressure of 24V DC at 0 VDC (pressure
set alarm pressure).
9/13/14
Common GND for AquaSensor AS1000 and electronic pressure
