Plan the Site Visit
After a careful review of the sales order, a Hewlett-Packard Site Preparation Specialist will make
arrangements for a preliminary on-site meeting. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the site
planning and preparation needs including electrical, mechanical, and physical system requirements.
Ideally, this meeting should be scheduled at least 60 days prior to the solution delivery date for the equipment
(see
“Develop the Schedule” ). If that is not feasible, it should be planned for the earliest possible date.
Key contact information for both the Hewlett-Packard Site Preparation Specialist and the customer should be
recorded and kept for reference:
The Hewlett-Packard Site Preparation Specialist and the customer contact should discuss and agree as to any
other participants included in the
Site Planning Team .
