Set Defaults Panel (Prefix and DAD ID Settings)
The Set Defaults panel is displayed when
1 Set Defaults
is selected in the Main Menu panel. The
following items can be defined in the Set Defaults panel:
•
The configuration file prefix and DAD ID
•
The maximum number of messages that can be output to the ISPF log
•
The setting for use of the Remote DKC Control Function or the route list ID
•
The parameters for the
YKWATCH
command, which monitors volume status, and the JCL for
background jobs
The Set Defaults panel is shown in
Figure 14 (page 27)

Description
Item
Specify the prefix of the configuration file name in alphanumeric characters
(required).
Do not use hyphens.
Configuration File Prefix
1, 2
Specify the DAD ID of the local site in alphanumeric characters. (required)
Do not use hyphens.
Local Device Address Domain ID
Specify the device address domain ID of the host on which Business Continuity
Manager is running (the host DAD ID) by using alphanumeric characters
(required).
Hyphens cannot be specified.
