Specify the name of a CA copy group with the HyperSwap attribute.
HS({CHECK|NOCHECK})
Specify whether to check if HyperSwaps are enabled for the detected PPRC copy pairs.
•
CHECK
Acquires the UCB information (
UCBHSWAP
) of the P-VOLs of detected PPRC copy pairs and
checks whether HyperSwaps are enabled. Only those PPRC copy pairs for which
UCBHSWAP
is set to
ON
are defined as a CA copy group with the HyperSwap attribute.

NOCHECK
Does not check whether HyperSwaps are enabled for the detected PPRC copy pairs. Instead,
all detected copy pairs are defined as a CA copy group with the HyperSwap attribute.
NOTE:
•
If a copy group definition file with the same name as the name specified in the
CGNAME
parameter already exists, executing the
YKH2B
command overwrites the existing file with the
newly created file. To retain the existing file, specify in the
CGNAME
parameter a name that
is different from any existing copy group definition file name.
•
When you specify NOCHECK for the HS parameter, for the scan range, include only PPRC
TrueCopy copy pair volumes for which HyperSwap is enabled. If volumes of non-PPRC
TrueCopy copy pairs or volumes of PPRC copy pairs for which HyperSwap is not enabled are
included in the scan range, the copy pairs will be processed as PPRC copy pairs for which
HyperSwap is enabled. They will also be defined together as a TrueCopy copy group with
the HyperSwap attribute.
Return codes
Table 117 (page 218) lists the return codes to be returned when the
YKH2B
command terminates.

parameter.

Although a copy group definition file was generated, a change was detected in an
I/O configuration while the
YKH2B
command was being executed by omitting the
HS parameter or by specifying
CHECK
.
•
Although a copy group definition file was generated, a storage system that does not
support 2DC configurations with HyperSwap and CAJ was detected.
