HP P2000 G3 MSA System CLI Reference Guide 183

set system

Description

Sets the system’s name, contact person, location, and description. Each value can include a

maximum of 79 bytes, using printable UTF-8 characters except left angle bracket, backslash, or

double quote. A value that contains a space must be enclosed in double quotes.
The name, location, and contact are included in event notifications. All four values are included in

system debug logs for reference by service personnel. When using the WBI, the system name

appears in the browser title bar or tab.
