Cycle power, after several occurrences,
contact technical support.
Drive hardware error

Load time-out. The drive has run into a time-out
while loading a tape.

Check that the tape cartridge is supported
and has not exceeded its usage life. Inspect
it for damage.
•
Retry the operation.
•
Clean the drive. The error sub-code 00
indicates drive 1, sub-code 01 indicates drive
2, and so on.
•
If the issue continues, remove the drive and
inspect the opening for any obstructions.
•
Attempt the Force Tape Eject process. Once
the tape cartridge is ejected, unlock the
magazine holding the cartridge and inspect
the cartridge for damage. Discard the tape
cartridge if it is damaged. (For MSL2024, see

drive and then retry the operation.

Attempt to use L&TT to get the tape drive
