Deleting Pairs (Pairsplit -S)

The pair delete operation is executed by using the

-S

option of the pairsplit command. When

the

pairsplit -S

command is issued, the specified Hitachi TrueCopy or ShadowImage pair is

deleted, and each volume is changed to SMPL (simplex) mode. If you want to re-establish a
pair which has been deleted, you must use the paircreate command (not pairresync).
