10.2.6 Cutting
cell
Disconnect the cutting cell from the other components. Cover the control panel with protective padding and
secure it to the cutting cell. Support the arm at the top of the cell and use an extra piece of wood to prevent it
from swinging during transport. Roll up the cables and secure them with tie-wraps. Close and lock all the
doors. There are four lifting hooks situated on the top of the cutting cell, it is important that all four are used
when lifting to keep the cell in balance. Always lift a small amount to check the balance before transporting.
Total weight = ±3½ tons.
10.2.7 Control unit cabinet
The control unit cabinet contains electrical parts. Place a desiccant inside the
cabinet to absorb any moisture. It is also advisable to wrap the unit in protective
sheeting. If the cabinet is to be transported pack it in a wooden crate. Total weight
= ±155 kg.
