Enter the ‘Calibrate tool’ measurements
Be careful! The calibration piece will be hot after cutting. Wait until it has
cooled down before making any measurements. The operator must wear
flame proof gloves when handling pieces.
Using a pair of calipers, measure the four distances shown in the dialog
and enter the values in the fields provided. Press ‘Ok’ to enter the values,
the torch dimensions are automatically calculated and entered for you.
This completes the tool calibration. This process should be repeated
regularly to maintain the highest quality cutting results. This process
should also be carried out whenever the consumables in the torch have
been changed or replaced.
WARNING!
The material can be hot due to the cutting process!
Allow the material to cool down before doing
measurements. Always wear flame proof gloves and
flame proof clothing when operating the PCL machine.
