Rotate the column as shown in the wizard. Press ‘Start’ to continue.
When the calibration is complete you will see the results (top right). The difference between the ‘current’ and
‘new’ values should never be more than a few millimeters. If the deviation is too large, press ‘Cancel’ and
repeat the process checking that the clamps close completely on the calibration column. If you are satisfied
with the results, click ‘Apply’ and the new values will automatically be entered for you.
ATTENTION!
If the offsets and/or deviation remain suspiciously high, please contact HGG.

Calibrate active frame
The active frame is calibrated when the machine is installed. It is usually only necessary to repeat the
procedure if there is a problem or a collision has occurred. To calibrate the active frame you will need the
calibration column, a short piece of raw material and measuring tools.
Preparation
On your computer, open the cutting file folder (for GPD and TAF files, by default: C:\dnc).
Create a new Ship folder and give it a name (e.g. Calibration).
Open the folder and create a new Lot folder and give it a name (e.g. Active Frame).
Open the folder and create a new File folder and give it a name (e.g. GPD).
Now open the ‘Settings’ folder in the machine software (by default: C:\HGG\pcl\Settings).
Copy the file ‘CaliActiveFrame.gpd’ to the ‘GPD’ file folder you just created.
Place the short piece of material on the infeed conveyor close to the gripper (it must be at least 2 to
3 meters from the cutting cell).
Make sure the machine is ready to start cutting.
