13 These properties can be changed. If you wish the square to be cut nearer to the end of the raw material
for example, change the ‘distance’ property. If you want to cut two squares next to each other, change the
‘offset’ property and keep the same ‘distance’ property. If you wish to cut a larger square, change the ‘size’
property. Cutting a smaller square is not recommended because the smaller the square the more difficult it is
to measure and the less accurate the measurement. In the example below the square has been moved
closer to the end by reducing the value of the ‘distance’ property.
14 The part is now programmed. The following step is to create the
cutting files for the part. Right click on the part to open the context
menu. At the bottom of the menu select ‘Create cutting file(s)’.
15 Check that the file has been created in the ‘Log’ pane (bottom centre
of screen). You will also see the path (the location where the file has
been created). Make a note of the location.
