10.2.8 Dust

collector

Make sure all power supplies and hoses are disconnected. Remove all piping from the dust collector. The
filter unit has holes in the bottom for transportation with a fork lift or hooks at the top for movement with an
overhead lifting device, place on a pallet and secure firmly. Total weight = ±1500 kg. For more details
regarding transport of the dust collector please refer to the Dust Collector Manual.

10.2.9 Plasma

unit

The plasma unit is mounted on wheels for easy displacement. If it is to be lifted, all four lifting hooks on the
top of the unit must be used. If placed on a pallet, the wheels should be boxed in or the unit prevented from
rolling by another means. Weight = ±300 kg. The flow control unit can be removed for storage. For more
details regarding the plasma unit please refer to the Plasma Unit Instruction Manual.

10.3 Smaller components

Smaller machine components such as the printer, hydraulics unit, gripper and scrap trolley can be placed
individually on pallets (as shown below) or packed together in a wooden crate. It is advisable to wrap the
components in plastic sheeting or waterproof covering. Secure firmly before moving. Use padding to protect
any areas that may come in contact with the sides of the crate during transportation.
