8 Calibration
This chapter describes the calibration procedures and will guide you through the process. In the ‘Service
menu you will find the following calibration dialogs:

Calibrate clamps

Calibrate active frame

Calibrate tool
8.1 Tools and material
The calibration column supplied by HGG is used for the first two of these procedures. For the plasma torch
calibration you will need a flat bar that complies with the following conditions:

Web size = 200 to 300 mm

Thickness = 10 to 30 mm

Maximum deflection* = 0.5 mm/m

Maximum overall deflection = 3 mm

Maximum twisting* = 0.1°

specifications.
You will also need the calibration column and the calibration pin
for the plasma torch.
You will need the following tools to make the measurements:
Pair of calipers Set of Allen keys Tape measure
