Maintenance

Carriage

To clean the carriage

Remove any tool installed in the tool head

With canned air, gently blow clean the carriage to remove paper dust.

Edge sensors

Use the Clean? menu function to determine if sensors need to be cleaned.

Remove all material from the plotter.

Ensure that the pinch wheel lever is in the up (open) position.

In the Main Menu, Press F4, Menu 1.

The ODYSSEY XP checks each of the sensors. Initially, if a problem is
detected, the plotter provides instructions to ensure that material has
been removed and/or that the pinch wheels are up. Follow the
directions on the control panel display to continue.
