Vivid S5/Vivid S6 User Manual

Perform a measurement for all basal and mid-level
segments in all three apical views.
In addition to the Time to peak and the Peak velocity for
each segment, the following TSI indexes are calculated:
•

Septal lateral delay

: difference in Time to peak velocity

in the basal lateral wall and basal septum.

•

Septal posterior delay

: difference in Time to peak

velocity in the basal posterior wall and the basal
antero-septum.

•

Basal max delay

: difference between the maximum and

minimum time to peak measurements in the six basal
segments. Requires at least four of the six basal
segment measurements.

•

Basal standard deviation

: the standard deviation of the

time to peak measurements in the six basal segments.
Requires at least four of the six basal segment
measurements.

•

All segments max delay

: difference between the

maximum and minimum time to peak measurements in
all the measured basal and mid level segments.
Requires at least eight of the twelve segmental
measurements.

•

All segments standard deviation

: the standard deviation

of the time to peak measurements in all measured basal
and mid level segments. Requires at least eight of the
twelve segmental measurements.

The TSI indexes indicate degrees of asynchrony in time to
peak velocity
