Creating and managing a RAID array

How to create a new RAID array

To create a RAID volume you need to be logged in as admin and follow these steps.

1. Navigate to the Storage menu, select the RAID

2. Click Add button to start the process of adding a physical disk to the selected RAID

3. Create a new RAID
•

Name your RAID volume. (Example: OfficeShare_RAID5)

•

Use the drop down to choose the RAID level you desire.

•

Check off the number of disks you want in the volume.

4. Click Save
