Chapter 1 Installation of the Unit

System Construction

NOTE



Secure sufficient workspace for installation.

Open the button cover located behind the handle on the DS-8007. While sliding the button to the open side,

slide the maintenance cover upwards and remove it.

NOTE



Do not apply excessive force when sliding.

Slide the HCP-820/HPD-820 along the rail on the rear side of the main unit until it is firmly connected.

To remove the HCP-820/HPD-820, open the button cover located behind the handle on the DS-8007, and

while sliding the button to the open side, slide the HCP-820/HPD-820 upwards, and remove it.

Then, attach the maintenance cover which was removed at step 2 by sliding along the rails on the rear side of

the main unit.
