Notes on LAN expansion

After using a PCI card to add a LAN port, enter the setenv command as

follows after the ok prompt, to assign a MAC address to the LAN port:

If a loop prevention function such as the spanning tree protocol or domain

separation is supported by a switching hub used, disable the spanning tree

protocol at the port connecting the switching hub to main unit, or enable

domain separation. Thereby, suppress the loop prevention function.
