Notes on installation

• Rack installation notes

Follow these procedures to ensure that safety requirements are addressed when this

product is installed in a rack.

The PRIMEPOWER650 rack-mount type (8U) server is installed in a closed or

multi-unit rack assembly. The ambient operating temperature inside the rack may

be greater than the room temperature. Make sure that the PRIMEPOWER650 rack-

mount type (8U) server is installed in an environment that does not exceed the

manufacturer's maximum rated ambient temperature.

- Adjust air conditioning and air circulation to prevent the internal rack ambient

temperature from exceeding the maximum operating temperature of this unit.

- Maximum internal operating temperature of this unit: 35

C (95

F).

Observe the following precautions to prevent damage to the PRIMEPOWER650
rack-mount type (8U) server.
