Handling precautions

Equipment damage

Use care when handling hard disk drives. Takes the precautions listed below to
minimize the risk of accidental damage while handling the disk drive. If these
precautions are not observed the hard disk drive could be damaged or lose data.

Do not subject the unit to excessive impact.

Do not bring the unit near to equipment (motors, speakers, etc.) that generate
strong magnetic fields.

Do not store the unit in locations likely to cause condensation inside the unit or in
locations subject to sudden changes in temperature or humidity.
