Custom installation
The upgrade is performed by manually entering the configuration information into the interface (communication service port
number and so on).
Define the installation information in the installation parameter file. Specify the installation parameter file for which the
installation information has been defined when executing the install shell.

You cannot change these install directories: /opt, /etc/opt, /var/opt.

Perform the custom installation when the previous version of AdvancedCopy Manager has been installed and the Management
Server has multiple IP addresses.
Point
If an IP address for the Management Server is not specified in the installation parameter "Management_server_IP_address", the IP
address is set automatically during installation. Change the IP address, if required, after the installation has completed. Refer to
"Changing IP Address of Management Server" in the
ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide
for the operating system
of the Management Server for information on changing the IP address.
Point
When Symfoware has already been installed, perform the following procedure:
1.
Stop the processes of Symfoware/RDB, WebDBtools, and RDA-SV temporarily.
2.
Perform the upgrade.
The upgrade procedure is as follows:
Note that if step 1 through step 3 have already been performed, perform from step 4.
1.
Login to the server on which to perform the tasks. Perform operations after logging in with root (superuser).
2.
Insert the DVD-ROM "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM Mediapack for Solaris (Manager Program) (2/2)" or "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM/Express
Mediapack for Linux 64bit (Manager Program) (2/2)" for this version into the DVD-ROM drive.
Refer to "DVD-ROM Contents" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide
for this version for information on the DVD-ROM
structure and detailed contents.
3.
Mount the DVD-ROM.
