
Air/Water Valve
Used to blow air or water onto the
surface of objective lens from the
nozzle in distal end. This valve
has a blue mark.
Suction Valve
Allows suction through instrument
channel (port) from the distal end. This
valve has an orange mark.
Up-down Angulation Lock
Locks the up/down angulation of the bending
section.
Up-down Angulation Knob
Angulates the bending section upward or
downward.
Left-right Angulation Lock
Maintains the angle of the bending section.
It switches between Lock and Free (unlock).
Left-right Angulation Knob
Angulates the bending section right or left.
Control Portion
Operates the endoscope.

Forceps Valve
The forceps valve consists of a valve
body and a lid. It performs the function of
preventing leak or backflow of air.
Instrument Channel Inlet
Inlet for passing forceps or endotherapy device
through the instrument channel.
The forceps valve is attached during use.
Insertion Tube
Connects bending section and control
portion.
Insertion Portion (Applied Part)
Insertion portion is a generic name for insertion tube, bending
section and distal end. This portion can be inserted, until its
flexible portion, into body cavities.
Bending Section
This portion is bendable in any of the up,
down, left and right directions.
Distal End
Contains the objective lens, light guide, air/
water nozzle, instrument channel outlet, etc.
Air/water supply and suction are controlled
by the valves on the control portion.
Instrument Channel Diameter Label
Shows the minimum diameter of the instrument channel.
