Scan Service Overview
The machine is capable of scan services.
The following functions are available by using scan services.

Scan features are not available for some models. An optional package is necessary to use
scan features. For some models, scan features are available only when those are equipped
as factory option. For more information, contact our Customer Support Center.

E-mail, Network Scanning, and Job Flow Scan features are only supported by DocuCentre
9000 with Scanner and Document Centre 1100/900.

Scanned documents can be converted into an electronic format and transmitted via e-
mail.

Scan to Mailbox
Documents which you would like to take in as data can be scanned and stored into a
mailbox. Stored documents can be accesses from network computers.

Network Scanning
A job template is a configuration file for scanning parameters. Specify a job template
for the document to be scanned in as data. The scanned document will be stored on a
network computer. CentreWare scan service (sold separately) is required for creating
job templates and for setting up transmission destinations.

Scan to FTP/SMB
When the machine is connected to a network, scanned data can be stored on network
computers using the FTP or SMB protocol.
Documents which you would like to take in as data can be scanned and stored on
network computers.

Job Flow Scan
Scanning can be performed using job flows from a network computer by using
application software, such as EasyOperator.
