Communicating using FOMA PC Configuration Software

The FOMA PC Configuration Software allows you to perform setup for the communication
by simple operation.

FOMA PC configuration software

Easy setup

This function creates a dialup connection for FOMA data communication and performs communication
configuration optimization at the same time by following the instructions in the guide.

Communication configuration optimization

This function optimizes the settings in the PC required for packet communication. Communication
configuration optimization is required to enable full use of communication performance.

Dialup connection (APN) setup

This function performs Dialup connection (APN) setup required for packet communication. Phone
numbers cannot be used as a dialup connection. Set a dialup connection name called APN in FOMA
terminal for each dialup connection and enter the registration number (cid) in the entry field of dialup
connection phone number. "mopera.ne.jp" (APN) to connect to mopera is registered in cid1 and
"mopera.net" (APN) to connect to mopera U is registered in cid3 by default. However, the APN setting is
required for connections to other providers and corporate LANs.

Installing FOMA PC Configuration Software

When W-TCP environment configuration software, FOMA data communication configuration software
previously used or FOMA PC Configuration Software before the version 4.0.0 attached to FOMA terminal,
uninstall the software in advance.
To check the version of FOMA PC Configuration Software, click [
