Call waiting
When there is another incoming voice call during a voice
call, this service notifies you with the call waiting ring
tone. This allows you to place your current voice call on
hold and then answer the other voice call. You can also
make a call to another party, putting the current call on
hold.

When a videophone call is received during a
videophone or voice call, Call waiting does not operate
but the call is recorded as a missed call.
･
When using Call waiting service, set Arrival call act to
"Answer" in advance. If not, you cannot answer calls
received during a voice call with Call waiting service
active.
･
To answer the other incoming voice call during a voice
call, perform the operations below.

: Put the current call on hold and answers the
incoming call
n
: The current call is disconnected and the calling
screen of the incoming call appears. Press

answer the call

During Call waiting, you can switch the party to talk to
by pressing

.

When making a voice call to another party during a
current voice call, press

and select "Dial up".

Call forwarding service
Call forwarding service forwards voice calls and
videophone calls to the phone of your home or office
when there is an incoming voice or videophone call while
FOMA terminal is located where radio waves are hard to
reach or is powered OFF or you do not answer the call
within the specified ring time.

To give priority to Call forwarding service with Answer
machine active, set Ring time for Call forwarding
service which is shorter than a response time for
Answer machine.
･
When an incoming voice or videophone call is not
answered with Call forwarding active, it is recorded as
a missed call and (the digit indicates the
number of missed calls) appears on the stand-by
display.

Basic flow of Call forwarding service
Step 1 : Activate Call forwarding service.
Step 2 : Set the phone number of forwarding destination.
Step 3 : Call comes in to FOMA terminal.
Step 4 : Unanswered calls are forwarded to the previously
specified destination.

With 2in1 ON, activation and deactivation of Call
forwarding service are available for Number A
and B respectively. You can make settings for
Number A in A mode and for Number B in B mode
and select one of numbers to be set in Dual mode.
Other settings are common to Number A and B.
