◆ Connecting using USB cable

The connection should be made with the PC and FOMA
terminal both turned ON.

Insert a connector of USB Cable to the
external connection terminal of FOMA
terminal flatly until it clicks (

Insert the
PC side of USB Cable into the USB connector
of the PC (

).

In microSD mode or MTP mode, the light flashes
in blue at about 6-second intervals.

When PC and FOMA terminal are connected,
appears on the stand-by display. Press
g
and
select to display the USB mode settings
screen.

In microSD or MTP mode, the PC may not recognize the
connected FOMA terminal in cases below :
- When "microSD" in "LifeKit" menu is activated
- When moving/copying data from FOMA terminal to microSD
memory card
- When downloaded PDF data, i-motion, etc. is saved directly to
microSD memory card
- When shooting still image, recording movie, recording 1Seg, sound
recorder, Chara-den or Music player is operating

Install the FOMA communication configuration file before
connecting with a PC in "Communication mode" for the first
time. For details, see "Manual for PC connection setting" in
the attached CD-ROM. For other modes, no settings are
required because the OS automatically installs the driver.

Removing USB cable

Press the release button of FOMA USB Cable

) and remove the connector from FOMA
terminal flatly (

Pull the USB Cable from the PC flatly.

Applying an excessive force to pull the USB cable may give
damage to it.

When disconnecting the USB cable from the PC in microSD
mode, click in the task tray in the lower-right corner of
the PC screen, click "USB 大容量記憶装置デバイス−ドライブ
(E : ) を安全に取り外します (Safely Remove USB Mass
Storage Device-Drive (E : )
