button settings are made, the downloaded Program guide
i-
α

Timer reception/recording reservation
Reserving 1Seg watching/
recording
Timer reception allows you to automatically activate
1Seg watching at the reserved date and time or notify the
program start with an alarm. Reserved program
automatically starts recording at the reserved date and
time.

Up to 100 watching and/or recording reservations can
be saved, but the maximum number of reserved items
varies by the number of saved items in Scheduler. →

You can also use channel information shown in
Program guide i-
α
ppli, site or mail to save reservations.
In that case, a reservation saving screen already
including a start date/time, end date/time, channel and
program name may appear.

Saving timer reception

Set the
required items
Start time : Enter date/time to start watching.
End time : When setting date/time to end watching,
select "Yes" and enter the date/time.
Channel : Select a channel to watch from TV station
list.
Program : Enter a program name. Up to 100 two-
byte (200 one-byte) characters can be entered.
Saving can be made without entry.
Use as alarm : Select "Yes" to activate 1Seg
watching after activation notification with no
confirmation screen appearing.

When setting watching time to 24 hours or more,
appears in the upper-right corner of the set
date on the calendar screen of Scheduler. And,
appears below the individual timer reception
icons on the schedule list of the calendar screen or
the Day view screen (Long-term schedule).
