Other Convenient Functions
◆ Switching tasks to operate
Displaying the Switch Task menu allows you to operate
while switching screens.
･
Some items in the Switch Task menu may be displayed
differently from the item names on the main menu.
<Example> Switching from voice call screen to site

Set the required items

Auto power ON : Set if you automatically turn the
power ON.
Time : Enter a time to turn the power ON.
Repeat : Set a repeating operation.

INFORMATION

Even when Auto power OFF is "ON", when the specified
time arrives while FOMA terminal is in any mode except
stand-by, the power is not turned OFF. The power is turned
OFF after exiting the currently active function.
･
In addition to turning the FOMA terminal OFF, keep Auto
power ON set to "OFF" in areas where use of a mobile
phone is prohibited, such as in airplanes, medical facilities
or hospitals.
Countdown timer
Setting the timer with a simple
operation

On the stand-by display, you can enter and set the time
(minutes) to elapse before the timer sounds.

The time is entered between 1 and 60 minutes.

When FOMA terminal is folded during
countdown, the remaining time before the timer
starts sounding appears on the sub-display.

countdown, a screen appears for confirming the
end.

When the specified time has elapsed
The next screen appears on the display and the timer
starts sounding at Alarm clock sound set in Adjust
volume. Actions are taken according to the settings to
Alarm clock in Vibrate alert/effect or Call in Light alert.
With FOMA terminal folded, and
message "Countdown ended" are displayed on the sub-
display.

to stop the timer.

When no operation is carried out for about 1 minute or

timer stops.

INFORMATION

When the specified time arrives during a call or PushTalk
session, a warning sound is emitted and a screen showing
a stopped timer appears.

If the specified time arrives in the cases below, the alarm
starts sounding after the operations or actions are
completed.
- While making/receiving/calling/disconnecting a call or PushTalk
call
- During transmission/reception of 64K data communications
- In data transfer mode
- Infrared remote control function in operation
