7.2.12 Buzzer Test
To test the buzzer:
Press

5. Tap the Buzzer button.
6. Choose HIGH and press
Enter
/ . Verify that a High buzzer sound is heard.
7. Tap the Buzzer button.
8. Choose LOW and press
Enter
/ . Verify that a Low buzzer sound is heard.
If the test fails:

Check the buzzers cables. Make sure they are connected to the Main
Board and are intact.

Replace the Main Board (see 4.10), and perform the required calibrations
(see 7.3 Test table).
7.2.13 Oxygen Calibration Test
For non iO

ventilator (no internal O
2
mixer)
Connect an external Air/Oxygen Entrainment Mixer to an Oxygen source. Install the
Air/Oxygen Entrainment Mixer on the ventilator’s air inlet.

% settings are changed with the mixer dial.
For iO
2
ventilator (with internal O
2
mixer)
Connect the ventilator to an Oxygen source.

% settings are changed by the %O
2
button on the touch screen

4. Connect the patient circuit via a calibrated Oxygen Analyzer to the test lung.
5. Set the ventilator to STS mode. Start ventilation.
