Software Upgrade

Installing the SW upgrade

| FLIGHT 60 Service Manual

Software Upgrade

Required equipment:



USB storage device with the SW version (.pkg file)

Software upgrade will not run if the batteries are charged below
50%.

Installing the SW upgrade

Turn off the ventilator, disconnect from AC.

Copy the new SW version (.pkg file) to a USB storage device.

Plug the USB storage device to the vent USB port.

Connect the ventilator to AC.

The ventilator powers up and a software update screen opens, displaying the

current version and the new version to update.

Press

on the touch screen.

Once upgrade is done, the ventilator displays " Finished updating, please remove

DOK"

Remove the USB storage device and press

on the touch screen.

Turn on the ventilator, press

Technical

and press

Show Info.

Verify the new software version is displayed.

Calibration integrity check

Set the ventilator to the same ventilation modes:



ACMV



VCV = 500 mL



PEEP = 5



P trig = -5.0



Rate

= 15



= 1



= 80%



Waveform = Square

Connect to a patient circuit. Perform circuit test.

Start ventilation.

Verify the following:
