In the active state, a further user is logged on for the telephone. According to this,
the logon can take place
o
in the same telephone system,
o
in another telephone system, or
o
directly at an IP telephony provider
The protocols H323, SIP, TSIP or SIPS can be used for this purpose. The allocation
of the parameters in the Active State can be obtained from the particular provider of
the system. The option "activate" is used to activate the new registration.
