7. Hold the Teach button pressed down for at least 2 seconds.

The SPC11 then carries out the teach procedure. The
moveable mass moves at first slowly, then dynamically.
The display shows the following:

The dots flash at the same rate.

The teach procedure can last several minutes, depending on
the drive used. It is concluded when the drive is at end posi-
tion P.01. The display shows the following:

Output bit O1 supplies a 1-signal. The drive is now ready for
operation. The intermediate positions P.03 and P.04 can be
taught.

8. Check the positioning behaviour. Repeat points 2 to 8 if

the positioning behaviour does not yet fulfil expectations.

In order to influence the positioning times:

Increase or reduce the supply pressure within the per-
mitted range.

S

Install exhaust restrictors in the exhaust lines of the
proportional directional control valve.

If fluctuations in pressure of over 1 bar occur in front of the
proportional directional control valve, install a compressed
air reservoir (see chapter 3). Please observe the general in-
stallation instructions.
