Operating modes

As seen by the SFC−LAC

Profile position mode

Positioning mode. Standard operating mode when the
SFC−LAC is switched on. The positionng tasks are specified as
follows:

via  record  select:  Select  one  of  max.  31  position  sets
which  are  saved  in  the  SFC−LAC.  With  profile  FHPP
automatic  further  record  switching  is  possible.

via direct mode: The positioning task is transmitted
directly via the field bus with the appropriate nominal
values.

Profile torque mode

Force control: The drive exerts a certain force.

Interpolated position
mode

Continuous nominal value specification as per DS402.

FHPP continuous mode

With FHPP profile: A changeable target position is specified
in millisecond intervals (typical 4

Ū

10 ms). Corresponds to

the DS402 Interpolated position mode" (but without
SYNCsignal).

Homing mode

Carrying out reference travel

Demo mode

The  position  sets  saved  in  the  SFC−LAC  are  processed  one
after  the  other.  (The  Test  cycle"  in  FCT  processes  only  the
position  sets  selected  there,  whereby  the  SFC−LAC  is  inter
nally  in  the  normal  Profile  position  mode").
