Device control

When  the  SFC−LAC  is  switched  on,  the  control  interface  is  acti
vated  as  standard  [HMI  =  off ].  If  during  commissioning  there
is  a  difference  between  the  HME  (e.g.  HME−16−...)  set  in  the
SFC−LAC  and  the  HME  actually  connected  (e.  g.  HME−25−...),
activation  of  the  controller  by  ENABLE  or  [HMI  =  on]  can  lead
to  an  unexpected  reaction  of  the  drive  (the  controller  attempts
to  control  a  different  linear  module).

Caution

Unexpected movements of the HME due to incorrect
parametrizing

·

Make sure that there is no active ENABLE signal on the
control interface when switching on the SFC−LAC.

·

Parametrize  the  entire  system  completely  before
activating  the  controller  with  ENABLE  (controller
interface),  Enable"  (FCT)  or  [HMI  =  on]  (control  panel).

In  order  that  the  Festo  Configuration  Tool  can  control  the  con
nected  SFC−LAC,  the  control  interface  of  the  SFC−LAC  must  be
deactivated  and  control  must  be  enabled  in  the  FCT.
(FCT/HMI  =  on).  The  actual  status  of  the  control  bit  ENABLE
then  has  no  effect.

Activate  the  following  in  the  window  Project  output",
register  Operate"  under  Device  control"  the  button
FCT/HMI".
The  control  interface  of  the  SFC−LAC  will  then  be
deactivated  and  control  will  be  enabled  for  the  Festo
Configuration  Tool.
