5.3.1

Installing the FCT

Note

The FCT PlugIn SFC−LAC V2.2.0 supports the following
motor controllers:

SFC−LAC−...−CO: Firmware version V 01.02 and higher

Check with later versions of the SFC−LAC whether an
updated PlugIn is provided. If necessary consult Festo.

Note

Administrator rights are required for installing the FCT.

The FCT is installed on your PC with an installation program.

1. Close all programs.

2. Place the Festo Configuration Tool CD in your CD ROM

drive.  If  Auto  Run  is  activated  on  your  system,  the
installation  will  start  automatically  and  you  can  omit  steps
3  and  4.

3. Select [Run] in the Start menu.

4. Enter D:\setup (if necessary replace D by the letter of your

CD ROM drive).

5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
