Storing Batteries
If the machine will be stored for more than 30 days,
remove the battery. Make sure the battery is fully
charged and store the battery in a cool place.
When the battery is stored outside of the paver
or while the battery is being charged, never set
the battery on a concrete or dirt floor. The battery
should be placed on wooden blocks.

Rotate the drive until the fill plug (1) is straight up
and the level check plug (2) is 90° down from the
fill plug.
Remove the level check plug. The oil level should
be even with the bottom of the level check plug
hole.
Verify that there is no hydraulic oil in the final drive
housing before adding gear oil. Hydraulic oil in this
housing indicates leakage from the brake or hy-
draulic drive motor.
Add more oil if the oil level is low.
• Remove the fill plug (1).
•
Add oil to bring the level up to the bottom of
the level check plug hole.
Change Final Drive Oil

Rotate the drive until the fill plug (1) is at 90° and
the level check plug (2) is at the bottom of the drive.
Stop the engine and perform the lockout and tagout
procedure.
Remove the fill plug and the level check plug.
Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.
