The hood has a lockable access door that is in the 

center-rear of the hood that is raised to expose the 

radiator cap.

Remove the radiator cap (3).
Fill the cooling system with a 50% clean water/50% 

antifreeze solution to the bottom of the fill neck.

Replace the radiator cap.

Inspect Cooler Assembly

- Cooler Assembly

Paving conditions will determine how often the cool-

er assembly needs to be inspected and cleaned. If 

severe conditions exist or there are a lot of airborne 

contaminates, it may be necessary to inspect and 

clean the cooler assembly more than once a day.

Check for damaged hoses and loose or damaged 

hose clamps. Replace as needed.
Check the cooler for leaks and damaged or bent 

fins. Repair as needed.

Check the cooler for dirt and other buildup that will 

restrict air flow. Remove any found.

Spray water from a garden hose from the bottom 

side of the cooler assembly to the top to remove 

any dirt or grit that may have settled between the 

cooler assembly fins.
