Unbolt the hose (1) from the left side of the main-
frame and route it down and out the bottom of the
frame (2) by the rear of the track.
Place a suitable container by the track to catch the
hydraulic fluid.
Remove the plug (3) from the hose and allow the
hydraulic fluid to drain.

Clean the cover (4) to prevent dirt from falling into
the hydraulic reservoir. Remove the cover to gain
access to the strainers (5).
Remove the strainer from the suction manifold. Be
careful not to knock contaminants off the outside of
the strainer as it is removed from the manifold.
Clean the strainer with compressed air. Solvent can
be used if needed.
Install the strainer in the suction manifold.
Check the cover seals. If necessary replace them.
Install the covers.

Fill the tank through fill opening (6) with clean fil -
tered hydraulic fluid.
Loosen the case like fittings to purge out air in the
system on all hydraulic pumps and motors. Upon
completion of the procedure re-tighten fittings to re -
quired torque.
Check Hydraulic Lines and Com-
ponents
Check all hoses, tubes and components for leaks,
damage or loose fittings. Check the ground around
the machine for signs of fluid leakage. All leaks
should be identified and fixed before operating the
machine.
