9) Motor Drive

Starting:

Start up the motor drive as described in the Installation Instructions manual. When braking,

make sure that the DC-bus voltage in the regenerative drive (displayed in the Measure
submenu) is kept approx. constant and equal to the setpoint; also make sure that the mains is
steady. If load variations strongly affect DC-bus voltage or if it is unsteady, adjust the voltage
regulator parameters (P510 to P515). Voltage in the motor drive DC-bus is equal to the

rectified mains at constant speed or while accelerating, while it increments to the regenerative
setpoint in case of abrupt decelerations or when the load is pulled.
