Function
If one of these 3 functions is programmed for one of the available
terminals, the drive locks when the command contact ingoing to the
terminal selected by par. C164, C165 or C166 opens.
Parameters C164a, C165a, C166a allow setting the trip delay for any
external alarm.
To restart the drive, close the digital input configured as “external
alarm” and perform a RESET procedure.
Alarms tripped due to those functions are A083, A084, A085
respectively.
This function is inactive by default.
CAUTION
If multiple control sources are enabled (see the CONTROL METHOD MENU),
each “External Alarm” command signal is obtained by computing the logic AND
of the signal ingoing to the selected terminal for all the enabled control sources;
to prevent the external alarm from tripping, the signals of all terminal boards
must be input signals for the active terminal.
The alarm trips if only one input signal is disabled for one of the enabled
control sources. Parameters C164a, C165a, C166a allow setting the trip delay
for any external alarm.
