Switch
If the input has been identified as a switch, the following menu is
displayed:

Maximum 20 entries per zone.
Select any of the menu items and follow the instructions concerning the
required format of each entry. The function of each of the entries is
listed below:
1) Switch Active Set: The address of the output, preceded by a priority,
will be turned ON (assuming that the priority is higher than the output’s
reset priority) when the switch is activated. This output may be a relay
on a standard option card, an LED of the remote annunciator, an output
on a control module (M500CF, SIGA-CR, SIGA-UM), or an output
pseudo point.
2) Switch Active Reset: The same as 1) Switch Active Set except the
output is turned OFF (assuming that the priority is higher than the
output’s set priority).
3) Switch Active Action: The action number is performed when the
switch is off normal (sup open).
4) Patrol Number: A 4-digit number representing the patrol station
number may be entered.
5) Message: A 40-character message may be entered. The message must
be a generic message indicating the location of the zone or the device.
The message should not contain information concerning the status of
the zone because this status is indicated by the standard default zone
header which precedes this programmed message. This message will be
printed and displayed on both the activation and the restoration of the
switch.
6) Priority Response: Switches are automatically made Priority
Responses.
