Programming Manual

The following is a brief explanation of each of the items in the
configuration menu.

1. Printer = enable/disable

This will disable the supervision of the serial printer port on the
communications card in the CM1(N) or CM2(N). The printer may be
connected to the serial port of any control module and must therefore be
disabled in those modules not connected to a printer. The printer port
must be enabled when using the PT1-S, CGP, VDU-3, or CDR-3
options.

2. Printer type = form/strip

This selection will provide message format in either a 40-column mode
(RSAN-PTR) or 80-column (PT1-S).

3. Power supply = supervised/not supervised

This selection is used in those cases where a single power supply is
used to power multiple CM1(N)/CM2(N) panels located in the same
enclosure. The power supply supervision must be disabled in all but one
of the control modules. The power supply that must be supervised is the
one that has a ribbon cable connecting the control module to the power
supply.

4. Saturday = weekend/weekday

This selection may be toggled when using time controls to configure a
Saturday for a weekday or weekend mode. If time controls are not
being used, it does not matter where this value is set.

5. Sunday = weekend/weekday

This selection may be toggled when using time controls to configure a
Sunday for a weekday or weekend mode. If time controls are not being
used, it does not matter where this value is set.

6. Printer Baud rate = 300/600/1200/2400/4800

This selection must be set to match the baud rate setting of the printer,
CDR-3 coder, or other device connected to the serial port. The default
setting is 2400 Baud.
