Introduction
Playing a video clip
When you turn on the power of your DV-7PR and click the [Presenter] button on Selector, the Play
Mode screen appears. Open the desired project to playback (p.43).
Playing a video clip using the mouse
Click on the thumbnail of the video clip in the palette area to start the playback. The video clip being
played back is shown in green.

To stop playback
Click the [Stop] button or press the [Esc] key on your keyboard.
When playback stops, the monitor turns to black.
When the dissolving time (p.47) is set, the video clip fades out according to the setting.
You can also reset the playback engine by clicking the [Stop] button again while playback is stopped. When
image and sound synchronization becomes fuzzy, you can reset to get them back to order.
To pause playback
Right-click
on the playbacking video clip, or click
on the transport control. To continue
playback, left-click on the pausing video clip, or click
on the Transport control.
To select another video clip while pausing playback of a video clip
Right-click
on the selected video clip. The first frame of the selected video clip appears.
To send forward/backward by 1 frame
Click
on the transport control to send forward, and
to send backward by 1 frame.
To send forward/backward by 10 frame
Click
on the transport control to send forward, and
to send backward by 10 frame.
