Introduction
Turning off the power
1.
Turn down the volume on all audio devices (e.g., amplifiers and
mixers) connected to the DV-7PR.
2.
Turn off the DV-7PR.
From Selector:
Click the [Power off] button.
From Presenter or Editor:

Click the [EXIT] button located in the top left corner of the screen.

The message “Do you want to shut down?” appears. Click the [Power off] button.
If you have not saved the project, the message “Would you like to save current project?” appears. To save
the project, click the [Save] button.

Turn off all the devices connected to the DV-7PR.
You can also turn on the power of this unit using an external switch. To turn on the power of the DV-7PR
without using the [POWER] button of this unit, refer to “Turning on/off the power using an external
switch” (p. 98).
Switching applications

Exit the application you are using: Presenter or Editor.

Click the [EXIT] button located in the top left corner of the screen.

The message “Do you want to shut down?” appears. Click the [Selector] button.
If you have not saved the project, the message “Would you like to save current project?” appears. To save
the project, click the [Save] button.

Selector appears. Click the application you desire: Presenter or Editor.
While working on a project at the Presenter Edit Mode, you can also open the same project with Editor to
import and edit new material. For more information regarding the operation, refer to “Importing materials
from a video deck” (p. 72) and “Editing the materials” (p. 73).
