Operation

1.

At the Play Mode or Edit Mode screen, click the [MIDI Preferences] button.

2.

Set the MIDI channel to operate the video clip playback with the “Rx Channel” pull-down menu
in the “Clip Control” field.

If you wish to control the playback speed from the MIDI device, set the MIDI message at the
“Speed Control” pull-down menu (if “OFF” selected, it cannot be controlled using the MIDI
device).

The playback speed will be controlled with the selected message.

If you will control the playback speed, set the speed range with the “Speed Control Range” pull-
down menu (the ranges are given as multiples of the normal playback speed).

The “Speed Control Range” parameters are, (from left) the smallest MIDI value (0), medium value
(64), largest value (127). When the smallest value of the“ Speed Control Range” is set to 0, playback
pauses at value 0.
