Operation

Controlling the AR series

You can also MIDI control the Roland AR series such as the AR-3000. Each video clip, as they
playback, send out messages from the MIDI OUT interface such as Program Change and Note On
Message.
You can change the AR series phrase playback simply by changing video clips.
Connect a USB compatible MIDI interface to this unit, connect the MIDI cable to the MIDI OUT
interface of this unit, and to the MIDI IN of the AR series.

1.

At thePlay Mode or Edit Mode screen, click the [MIDI Preferences] button.

2.

Mark the checkbox in the “AR Control”.

AR Control turns on.

Set the MIDI channel to operate the AR series with the “To Channel” pull-down menu in the
“AR Control” field.

The video clips of this unit correspond with the AR series phrases as listed below.

4.

Click the [Done] button.
