Using other devices to control the Presenter
Using the DV-7C
With the separately sold DV-7C, you can control the video clips using the controller for a more
intuitive control. To connect the DV-7C, use the cable supplied with the DV-7C and connect it to the
[REMOTE] jack on the DV-7PR rear panel.
Be sure to turn off all the devices before making the connections.
Do not connect more than two DV-7Cs.
Displaying the color bar, switching modes (Play Mode or Edit
Mode), and turning the power off
You can perform the operations given below in any of the Presenter modes.
Displaying the color bar
To display the color bar, press the [SEQUENCE] button while holding down the [DELETE] button at
the bottom right. To turn off the display, press the same buttons again.
Switching modes
To switch modes, press the [MATERIAL] button while holding down the [DELETE] button at the
bottom right.
Turning off the power
To turn off the power, press the button near the middle of the console while holding down the
[DELETE] button at the bottom right.
You cannot perform two operations in a row while holding down the [DELETE] button.
Entering the video clip settings
You can set the in and out points in the Edit Mode. For more information regarding this procedure,
refer to “Setting a video clip” (p. 63).
