Operation
In the 49-key MIDI Keyboard Mode, a video clip is assigned to each one of the ivory (white) keys on
the 49-key keyboard. The palette area in the Play Mode screen and the palette window in the Edit
Mode screen change from 4 rows, 8 columns to 4 rows, 7 columns with each row corresponding to
one octave on the keyboard.
Also, each thumbnail in the Play Mode is given the name corresponding to the note of its key.

Be aware that in the 49-key MIDI Keyboard Mode, video clip numbers 29 to 32 become disabled.

You can control the dissolve time setting for a video clip by the velocity at which you depress a
key. If depressed strongly (velocity = 127), the dissolve time setting is multiplied by 0. If
pressed weakly (velocity = 1), the dissolve time setting is multiplied by 1. Set the curve in
between at “Velocity Curve Type” for the 49-key MIDI Keyboard Mode.

With video clip playback activated by note messages, the dissolve time settings for each video clip are
ignored.
