Top Housing 7–7
Cable Installation
1. Ensure the threads in the control housing are clean and free of debris. Using a M32 x
1.5 bottom tap (PT# 4209) will ensure that the threads are clean.
2. Apply Loctite 598 generously to the bottom of the strain relief over-mold and insert
the wires through the cable entry.
3. While inserting the cable into the control housing, spread Loctite 598 onto the
threads of the cable entry until they are coated completely. Install a new split nut onto
the cable.
4. Tighten the split nut while ensuring that the level sensor portion of the cable is
pointed toward the opposite side of the cable entry area. Wipe off any excess Loctite
598 that may have squeezed out.
