1.2 Safety instructions
•
This subsection is intended as an overview of
the warnings and instructions used in this manual,
which must always be observed.
•
The following general safety precautions
apply to the operation and maintenance of
the dispenser, and must always be observed.
Nonobservance of these instructions or any
other safety precautions mentioned in this
manual could impair the dispenser’s safety
standards.
•
The dispenser must be placed on a table or
a counter. The dispenser can be used to
deliver hot beverages, such as coffee,
decaffeinated coffee, tea or milk-containing
beverages (e.g. cappuccino, café au lait, milk
or cocoa-containing beverages). Additionally,
hot water can be delivered. The present
dispenser can only be used for liquid bever-
age concentrate in one-way product packs.
The manufacturer can not be held liable for
dispensers that were used for purposes other
than those specified in this manual.
•
The dispenser allows simultaneous beverage
delivery via two outlets.
•
For the delivery of e. g. espresso,
cappuccino and cocoa-containing beverages
the dispenser is equipped with three mixers.
Hazard intensity levels
•
There are three different levels of hazard intensity, identified by signal words
– DANGER, WARNING and ATTENTION. The level of hazard is determined by the following
definitions:
•
The dispenser can be converted to deliver
cold beverages, such as café cool, iced
cappuccino or iced choco. (Option)
•
The instructions in this manual must always
be followed. Nonobservance can lead to
dangerous situations, and the manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for possible
damages.
•
The technicians must have read the Back
Office Manual and operating instructions
thoroughly, and understood both before they
can install the dispenser and put it into
operation. The service technician must hand
over and explain the operating instructions to
the customer.
•
Installation, start-up, programming and, if
required, repair of the dispenser must be
performed by trained and authorized service
technicians only.
